Dr Matt Egan is an expert in hair restoration surgery, and is experienced in both Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Linear Strip Excision (FUT) hair transplant procedures.

Dr Matt graduated from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2014, and has since worked in multiple hospitals throughout London and the East of England. He has worked in a range of specialities including Ear Nose and Throat Surgery, General Surgery, Intensive Care and Emergency medicine.

Dr Matt completed his training in Hair Restoration Surgery in 2017. He is a Member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) and a Full Medical Member of The British Association of Hair Restoration Surgery (BAHRS).  

 

Since completing his hair transplant training, Dr Matt has worked in a number of clinics across the UK including on the prestigious Harley Street in London, and at HQ Hair Transplants in Cardiff where he worked for 3 and a half years as both a hair transplant surgeon and medical director.

 

He is committed to enhancing his knowledge of hair restoration and regularly engages with the International Society’s medical education program, and has travelled abroad for their annual conference.
